How It Started

In 1988, Unicity’s predecessor brought an amazing new product to market: Balance. The product provided a natural way to support healthy cholesterol levels and maintain healthy blood sugar throughout the day. The product was soon included in the Physician’s’ Desk Reference, and it was met with acclaim from scientists and doctors.

But when the company put the product in stores throughout the United States, they discovered a problem: despite the praise of medical professionals, it didn’t sell as expected. Balance was an unusually high-concept product in 1990.

When we started our journey of science-based wellness products over 25 years ago, we didn’t know exactly where it would lead. Today, we are humbled as we look back and see that this journey has influenced millions of people to take greater responsibility for their health and wellbeing.

None of this could have happened without our worldwide community of distributors.

As a community, we look forward to what the next 25 years will bring in terms of growth, personal development, and especially life-changing products—products taken off the shelf and put directly in the hands of people who know how to share them best.
