How It Started

In 1988, Unicity’s predecessor brought an amazing new product to market: Balance. The product provided a natural way to support healthy cholesterol levels and maintain healthy blood sugar throughout the day. The product was soon included in the Physician’s’ Desk Reference, and it was met with acclaim from scientists and doctors.

But when the company put the product in stores throughout the United States, they discovered a problem: despite the praise of medical professionals, it didn’t sell as expected. Balance was an unusually high-concept product in 1990.

It connects sellers and users by facilitating in-person support and connection.

Our model empowers customers to learn about the products and creates meaningful connections with people around them. The Unicity Model is making business personal again.

After twenty-five years, we’ve learned that our high-touch, person-to-person distribution model not only has power to create great experiences for customers—who get information they need about products they love—it also has the potential to do something special for those who distribute and share the product.

A Community of Learners

When people sign up as distributors, they are doing much more than joining an email list.

They join a community of people who are passionate about health, science, and personal development. Many of our distributors meet frequently in groups around the world to train each other, develop skills, and share knowledge.

For some, the experience is nothing short of transformative—that’s why we began funding dreams.

In addition to receiving discounted rates on all Unicity products, our distributors have the added financial benefit of earning money simply by sharing the product with others. For many, this is a part-time endeavor that helps them turn a yearly vacation or a monthly date night into a reality.
