The Make Life Better Foundation has teamed up with GoBoka Play to tell the compelling story of Annmarie Richards. We support how she is giving back to her community, and know that she is an advocate for good to people in need.
Annmarie came from a broken home, and decided she wanted to take children off the streets and integrate them into the school system and back into the public. She couldn’t do it without money, but with the extra income she has earned as a Unicity Franchise Partner, Annmarie can cover the cost of taking these children into her own home. Annmarie has helped more than 30 people make life better, and she continues to touch lives everyday.
GoBoka Play is making it possible for anyone to pay it forward to Annmarie and her cause by “playing it forward.” If the video reaches 50,000 views by April 10th, the Make Life Better Foundation will donate a computer lab to help with the children’s education.
At Unicity, we believe in making life better. We believe in helping people reach their prime—improving physical health, financial means, and also in reaching out to help others. Unicity has teamed up with GoBoka Play to tell the compelling story of Annmarie Richards. Unicity applauds how Annmarie is giving back to her community, and knows that she is an advocate for good to people in need.
Despite growing up in a broken home, Annmarie decided that she wanted to help children by taking them off the streets and integrating them into the school system. But she couldn’t help the children without money, and it wasn’t until she earned money as a Unicity Franchise Partner that she could see her dream unfold. Today, Annmarie has helped more than 30 people make life better, and she continues to touch lives.
GoBoka Play is making it possible for anyone to pay it forward to Annmarie and her cause. GoBoka’s slogan is, “play it, like it, share it,” and if the video reaches 50,000 views by April 10, Unicity will donate a computer lab to help the children Annmarie supports.

Reaching Our Goal
The video of Annmarie Richards surpassed the goal of reaching 50,000 YouTube views in a matter of only three days. So Clive Winn, a Make Life Better representative, made good on the promise to deliver a computer lab for surpassing the goal.
On April 17th, Winn and GoBoka Play surprised Annmarie on live national TV when Jamaica’s popular morning show, Smile Jamaica, asked to feature her and her cause. She believed her appearance would be a simple interview with the show’s hosts, but the Make Life Better Company and GoBoka Play saw this as a great opportunity to surprise Annmarie. They worked with the producers of Smile Jamaica so Annmarie would have no idea that anyone would be coming with the computer lab.
A few minutes into the interview, the hosts asked Annmarie “Where are these computers that the foundation promised to donate?” As she began to answer, Winn and GoBoka walked on set, computers in hand, and took Annmarie by complete surprise.
She jumped up and immediately began to cry tears of joy. She said she could not believe it was actually happening. Annmarie said, “I had full confidence that the Make Life Better Foundation would make good on their promise, but assumed it would take at least six months before we heard anything about the computers. I wouldn’t have dreamed they would arrive in less than a month!”
Watch the video below.
Annmarie expressed feelings of deep appreciation, explaining that the computers would change the lives of many, and even have a great influence in her community.
Annmarie not only wants the children she is helping use the computers, but she also wants to open them up to the community. She knows that the majority of people living in her community do not have access to modern day technology, let alone new computers or the Internet. She believes that allowing the community access to the computer lab will provide her area greater opportunities.
The Make Life Better Foundation believes in spreading need-based hope to people around the world. The computer lab donation to Annmarie Richards is just one example of many kind acts the foundation does to make life better for people and communities.
If you know someone that is either making a difference in their community through meaningful service, or working to give back but not able to because of insufficient means, contact GoBoka Play or submit his/her story through the form at the bottom of this web page.
